Indiana Preps | Girls Flag Football / First Flag Series — For Immediate Release
WESTFIELD, Ind. — July 20, 2026 — Indiana girls flag football is getting its biggest moment yet. And it’s happening in front of the entire country.
Indiana Preps today announced the inaugural All Indiana IFFCA All-Star Game, set for Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Droplight Grand Park Sports Campuses in Westfield — in partnership with the Indianapolis Colts. Indiana Preps serves as the exclusive media rights holder and producer for the event, the first in the new First Flag series built to put Indiana’s best flag football talent on its biggest stage yet.
The timing is deliberate and it is significant.
The All-Star Game lands on the final day of the NFL FLAG Championships presented by Toyota — the largest youth flag football tournament in the world — which runs July 23–26 at Droplight Grand Park. While teams from across the country and around the globe compete for world titles on adjacent fields, Indiana’s own all-stars take the field in front of the same audience, the same cameras, and the same national spotlight. Few state showcases ever get a backdrop like it.
All-Star Weekend opens two days earlier with the first-ever Colts Flag Media Day on Friday, July 24. Selected athletes will be introduced to media, photographed, and featured across Indiana Preps and Colts channels — a press-day experience modeled on what these players see from the pros, delivered to high school flag football for the first time. For the athletes who have been building this sport in Indiana before the infrastructure arrived, Media Day is the recognition they have earned.
Why This Moment Matters
Flag football is moving faster than almost any sport in the country. Participation has climbed past 20 million players worldwide. The game will make its Olympic debut at the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles. The NFL FLAG Championships’ move to Droplight Grand Park — its first time ever in an NFL club market — reflects how central Indiana has become to that national momentum.
The All Indiana IFFCA All-Star Game adds a distinctly Indiana chapter to that story.

The Indianapolis Colts have been invested in the growth of girls flag football across Indiana for years — and this weekend is the most visible expression of that investment yet.

The Indiana Flag Football Coaches Association, whose coaches have been building programs across the state long before the spotlight arrived, has a clear perspective on what this weekend represents.

The All-Star Game is not a one-time event. It is the opening chapter of Indiana Preps’ First Flag series — a long-term platform designed to cover and grow the sport with the production values, storytelling, and reach that match the talent on the field.
