Indianapolis, IN — At 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, sophomore safety Kaleb Elkins of Warren Central High School is rapidly emerging as one of Indiana’s premier defensive backs in the Class of 2027. His combination of size, athleticism, and football intelligence has garnered attention from several Division I programs.

Standout Sophomore Season 

In the 2024 season, Elkins showcased his playmaking abilities by recording six interceptions, ranking him second on his team and among the top in the state. His performance was instrumental in Warren Central’s defensive dominance, including a notable game where he secured two interceptions in a 34-0 victory over Warsaw. 

Rising Recruitment Profile 

Elkins’ on-field success has translated into growing interest from collegiate programs. He has received scholarship offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Indiana University, Bowling Green, Toledo, Kent State, among others. His recruitment is expected to intensify as he continues to develop and showcase his skills.
