The Fan’s Choice Indiana Minority Coaches Association Player of the Week for week five is Franklin Central quarterback Nevan Tutterow. Receiving nearly 50% of the vote, Tutterow separated himself from the field with his performance and win over conference foe Avon. The freshman gunslinger was spectacular, completing 13 of his 21 attempts, throwing for 281-yards and 3 touchdowns. This was the best performance of his young career.
The next most vote getter was Dustin Kostrzewski, a running back at Monrovia high school. Kostrzewski rushed for 118-yards on 11-rushes and got in the endzone twice, leading the Bulldogs to a 28-22 win over then unbeaten Speedway.
