Avon high rising senior Sampson James announced his commitment to Ohio State after making an official visit on March 18. It was late that night, James made his commitment to the Buckeye coaching staff. James a highly touted prospect, ranked the no. 8 running back in the country according to 247Sports, had received nearly 20 scholarship offers.
As a junior, James rushed for 1, 782 yards and 20 rushing touchdowns.
