Carmel high 2020 defensive lineman Cole Brevard is one of the hottest prospects in the country right now. The 6’3 280-pound junior-to-be has received offers from power five programs in Notre Dame, Penn State, Ohio State and Michigan. If his Spring schedule is an indication of how recruiting is going, it will be a busy offseason for the four-star lineman.
Indiana will get a chance to make an impression on the in-state crown jewel of the 2020 class when Brevard visits Bloomington this Saturday. Indiana was first to offer the Carmel standout back in January. Upcoming visits this month include Louisville on the 30th. A scheduled visit to attend the Ohio State spring game is April 14th, while he hopes his schedule will allow him to visit Madison for the Wisconsin spring game on April 13th. A possible visit to attend either Penn State or Notre Dame for their annual spring game is up in the air due to both programs hosting their respective event on the same day.
Brevard’s recruitment is still in its early stages despite his impressive list of scholarship offers. Soon more schools will be in on the no. 7 ranked defensive tackle in the country according to 247Sports. Brevard tells us he hopes some of those schools represent the SEC and PAC 12.
