Roncalli may have a new nickname, but the roster will feature many names from last season’s Class 4A state championship. The Royals as their dubbed look to sit on the throne again in 2021. A loaded offensive line with a multi-year quarterback is a recipe for success. Bishop Chatard, a familiar foe will try to be the first to topple the Royals. The Chatard Trojans are responsible for Roncalli’s lone blemish in the loss column last year. While those two duke it out in the regular season and in Sectional 22, it will be talent laden squads like Mooresville and Mt. Vernon looking to make an appearance on Thanksgiving weekend.
