The second Semifinal at the Southridge Regional, featuring the Linton-Stockton Miners and Southwestern (Hanover) Rebels, brought forth an instant classic, and a large dose of true Hoosier Hysteria.

The Miners opened quickly, firing out to a 10-2 lead. The Rebels struck right back, answering the Miners’ run with one of their own. A fast-paced First Quarter ended with Linton-Stockton leading, 22-19.

At Halftime, Linton-Stockton had a 34-28 lead. The stage was set for an intense Second Half. Each team traded blows throughout the Third Quarter, which ended in a 45-45 tie. Southwestern (Hanover) shot a perfect 7-for-7 from the floor in the quarter.

The Fourth Quarter brought forth a nip-&-tuck finish, with huge plays made by each team. Southwestern (Hanover) emerged with a 59-58 win over Linton-Stockton.
