Lawrence Central Bears proved they belong in the discussion as one of the state’s premier teams by handing the Warren Central Warriors a 35-26 defeat. The Bears secured the win, without sensational linebacker Cameron McGrone, who was ejected the previous week.

The Panthers scored the go-ahead touchdown for the win under one minute to play. Reitz getting the better of Central again for the fifth time in a row in the regular season. The next time these two meet will likely be in another sectional 24 showdown.
Franklin Central avenges two losses from 2016, knocking off conference foes Bloomington South and Columbus North. The Flashes are in position to win Conference Indiana for the first time since 2002.
