The seven-on-seven season is in full swing with teams from Indiana traveling across the country competing in tournaments. Indiana Preps will follow team Indy Rise and Grind, who is sponsored by Preps 2 Prospects, the originator of traveling 7v7 all stars from the Indianapolis area along with InFocus Sports Performance of Fishers, Indiana. There are several rising prospects on the roster that college coaches on all levels should pay attention to.

On Saturday, the club traveled to Louisville, Kentucky to compete in the Bluegrass Tournament. The squad went 3-3 on the day with losses coming to the eventual champion and runner-up in the quarterfinals.

Recruit Look
Defensive Back JD Harris (Columbus North, 2018) was the standout on the day. He allowed only one catch for two yards in six games. Harris hauled in three interceptions and several pass breakups when quarterbacks attempted to throw his way. He displayed his playmaking ability on the offensive side with some big catches and runs after the catch. Harris holds an offer from Indiana State.

Wide Receiver James Noble (Northwest, 2019) had a solid day for Indy Rise, leading the club in receiving touchdowns. Noble is a good route runner and is a natural pass catcher. He has a nice frame and should receive attention from the next level.

Running Back Delbert Mimms (Ben Davis, 2019) is a 200 pound back with great hands, and shiftiness for his size. He plays in a crowded backfield at Ben Davis, but coaches should definitely keep an eye on Mimms.

Quarterback Dylan England (Columbus North, 2019) led the club in passing touchdowns.

Linebacker Thomas Strole (Brownsburg, 2019) had two interceptions.
