Jovan was a key force for the class 6a state champion, Center Grove Trojans. His disruptive style of play was contagious for a defense that rarely surrendered more than 17 points a game. Teams game planned around Swann, and he still managed to account for 16.5 tackles for a loss and 6.5 sacks.

The prolific passer led his team to the class 6A semifinals and lost to eventual state champion Center Grove in double overtime. He passed for 3,103 yards, 37 touchdowns and just five interceptions. Peters won the IndyStar Mr Football award for the 2015 season.

Arguably the most exciting player the last two years leading his New Palestine Dragons team to a 2014 state championship and a runner-up in 2015. He set several records in the 2015 state title game and had arguably the best performance ever in a game, tallying more than 600 yards of total offense. Alex tossed for 2852 yards and 36 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions this season. He added 2097 yards and 37 touchdowns on the ground. He has has an astounding 64 passing touchdowns and 56 rushing touchdowns in two years as a starter.
