OUTLOOK
On paper this doesn’t look like a game to peak the interest of football fans nor media. However, the explosive play by Lawrence Central running back Gerrid Doaks gives us an opportunity to see if he’s really that good and if Center Grove’s defensive line is up to the task.

The Lawrence Central Bears are entering tonight’s game with a bit of confidence after blasting MIC foe Pike 61-28. Gerrid Doaks has been electrifying the last 3 weeks running the football. He leads the MIC again this season with 1049 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground.

Center Grove Trojans is handling business as usual. They have solid game plan that allows the offense to control the clock with it’s powerful run game and defense that is leading the MIC in several categories. Division one bound defensive lineman Jovan Swann and Cameron Tidd lead the way for the stout Trojan defense. This game will be won on the line of scrimmage, and Center Grove has the edge on both sides of the ball.

WINNER: CENTER GROVE 34-21
