AWP Sports will host a football showcase for Indiana underclassmen prospects on Saturday, December 6 in Fort Wayne. The event gives Indiana prospects the opportunity to compete against some of the best talent across the state and Midwest.
AWP Sports is known to help develop some of the top football prospects in the nation. That includes Bishop Luers wide receiver Austin Mack who will be in attendance but will not be participating. Mack holds several FBS offers, the likes of Ohio State, Notre Dame and Michigan. Another top prospect to watch on Saturday will be fellow Fort Wayne product defensive end Auston Robertson who also holds offers from Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan and others.
One of the Midwest’s top defensive lineman in Naquan Jones will make the trip down from the Chicagoland area. He is a 4-star prospect with a very impressive list of early offers that include Iowa, Michigan State and Indiana. Fort Wayne Carroll quarterback Aidan Smith will also be in attendance looking to build on what was a solid summer camp circuit and fall football season. Evanston Illinois and Western Michigan recruit, quarterback Matt Little is also on the camp roster. Look for Snider high’s Malik Bramely and Niles North (IL) running back Barrington Wade try to make a name for themselves on Saturday.

The Indianapolis area will be well represented on Saturday as well. Starting with 4-star prospect in Ben Davis High’s Chris Evans who is fresh off a impressive performance in leading his Ben Davis team to a Class 6A State Championship a week ago. Evans is a versatile athlete who can play running back and receiver. Expect Evans to showcase his speed, hand catching ability and athletic movement in space at the showcase. Evans is looking to add to his lone offer in Indiana this offseason and this event will more than likely jumpstart that process.

Ben Stewart is a rocked up 2017 safety from Indianapolis powerhouse Cathedral who will be competing on Saturday. Stewart also won his 2nd straight state championship with Cathedral last weekend. We expect Stewart to be a 3-Star recruit by the start of his junior season campaign. Along with Stewart, Cathedral Irish quarterback Max Bortenschlager will be looking to ramp up his recruiting by showcasing his skills this weekend.
A pair of Columbus North talented underclassmen in Tight End Drew Schoeberl and 2017 defensive tackle Coleman Tennyson will make the trip to Fort Wayne. Schoeberl is considered one of the top tight ends in the Midwest and seeking his first offer. Tennyson like Jones, is a big guy with good quickness and athleticism. He jumped on the radar by placing in the top 5 at AWP’s College Showcase last summer. After a solid sophomore season at Columbus North, Tennyson’s recruitment will definitely take off with a good performance on Saturday.
Perry Meridian 2016 defensive end Dylan Roth adds to the talented lineman group with his raw athleticism and pass rushing ability. Roth most recently placed top 5 in the defensive lineman group at the Adidas Top 10 showcase in Detroit last week. Indianapolis Lutheran quarterback Jake Reid will be looking to see how he fares with all the talent on hand.
