Four of the top INPrep50 athletes made commitments during the month of November, including a decommitment from a B1G powerhouse program. The pressure was on 2014 ATH Drue Tranquill (Fort Wayne Carroll) to make a decision between 2 in-state schools, Purdue and Notre Dame. It was the Irish’s shining moment when Tranquill made his commitment switch from the Boilermakers to the Irish.

The state’s top Offensive Lineman, Lukayus McNeil (Decatur Central HS) made his commitment to the University of Louisville after enduring the busy recruiting process. The 6’7 270 McNeil was the most sought after lineman in Indiana. His suitors included Indiana, North Carolina State, Michigan State and other prominent Division 1 programs.

The most surprising move of the month, belongs to Gary Westside High, ATH Lonnie Johnson when he announced his decommitment from Ohio State. Johnson claims the decision was totally his and not by the Buckeyes. He quickly turned his attention to Western Michigan, made an unofficial visit and then a few days later, committed to the Broncos. Johnson joins fellow INPrep, Nathan Braster as WMU commits.

Lawrence Central 2014 LB Brandon Lee made his official commitment announcement on his birthday. It was more like a present to Gary Pinkel and the Missouri Tigers football program. Lee becomes the 2nd INPrep player to commit to an SEC program along with Dominique Booth (Pike HS) to Tennessee.
