While Indiana continues to bask in the glow of a historic national championship run, college programs across the country wasted no time getting back to business — and the Hoosier State was a major stop this week.

Michigan State and Wisconsin led the charge, extending offers and making in-person visits to some of Indiana’s top underclassmen. Newly hired Michigan State head coach Pat Fitzgerald made Indiana a clear priority early in his tenure. A familiar name in Big Ten circles, the former Northwestern standout and longtime Wildcats head coach was active across the state, continuing a trend of heavy B1G presence in Indiana high schools.

Among those posting offers via X and tagging Indiana Preps was Theo Schott (2028), who continues to stack high-level interest. Schott has been one of the busiest prospects in the region, recently reporting offers from Georgia, Kentucky, Texas Tech, Florida, and Wisconsin. The Badgers’ involvement only adds to a recruitment that is gaining national traction.

Michigan State also made stops at Noblesville, where a 2027 offensive lineman reported a visit shortly after announcing an offer from Johnson earlier this week — another signal of the Spartans’ emphasis on building relationships early in Indiana.

Wisconsin, however, matched — and arguably exceeded — that momentum. In addition to Schott, the Badgers extended offers to Brownsburg 2027 defensive lineman Dami Sowunmi, Westfield 2029 tight end Caiden Snow, and Yorktown 2027 defensive lineman Chris Wilson.

Sowunmi’s stock continues to rise rapidly. The Brownsburg standout is emerging as one of the Midwest’s premier defensive line prospects and also reported an offer from Vanderbilt earlier this week. Snow, widely regarded as one of the top tight end prospects nationally in the Class of 2029, added offers from Kentucky and Boston College, further validating his early reputation.

The Minnesota Gophers also made their presence felt, extending offers to a pair of Class of 2028 quarterbacks. Center Grove’s Oscar Sloan and North Central’s Chase Grove both announced offers from Minnesota, highlighting the depth of quarterback talent developing in the state.

Elsewhere, Warren Central 2027 linebacker Sean Fox landed offers from Missouri, Vanderbilt, and UConn over the past few days. Brownsburg wide receiver Branden Sharpe added an offer from Oregon State, while Northrop EDGE Ifeanyi Emedobi continues to be one of the hottest names in the state following a standout performance at Sunday’s Indiana Winter Showcase. Kansas and Kent State both extended offers this week.

Another name to monitor closely is Muncie Central EDGE Isaiah Amerson (2027). The 6-foot-4, 245-pound prospect has drawn increased attention, with multiple programs stopping by to evaluate him as offers appear imminent.

With spring visits ramping up and underclassmen recruiting heating up, Indiana remains firmly on the national radar.
