Anna Smith | MB | Center Grove | Sophomore
The youngest player on tonight’s list made the loudest statement. Smith posted 11 kills and 20 digs for a double-double — a complete two-sided performance from a sophomore still in the early stages of a varsity career that already looks like something worth tracking. Middle blockers who contribute at that volume in the back row as underclassmen don’t stay unnoticed for long.
Maggie Sliwa | S | Hamilton Southeastern | Class of 2028
One night after running the offense through five sets against No. 2 Westfield, Sliwa crossed 1,000 career assists. The milestone lands in the same week Indiana Preps wrote about her as the best Power Four setter prospect in Indiana — and the timing is not coincidental. She is building a career résumé that is going to matter when the recruiting conversation accelerates. One thousand assists as a Class of 2028 setter is a number that tells you where the ceiling is pointed.
Adelynn Crispin | New Palestine | Double-Double
Crispin delivered 13 kills and 19 digs in a four-set win over Perry Meridian — a double-double that reflected a player contributing on both sides of the net in a meaningful result for a New Palestine program working to establish its identity in 2026. Thirteen kills and 19 digs in four sets is a complete performance that earns recognition statewide.
Stella Hamood | Avon | 1,000 Career Digs
Hamood became the first of two Avon players to reach a career milestone Wednesday night, crossing the 1,000-dig threshold. Reaching 1,000 digs requires sustained consistency at the highest level of defensive play across multiple varsity seasons. It is one of the more significant libero milestones in Indiana volleyball and Hamood earned it.
Cali Pence | Avon | 1,000 Career Assists
Pence joined her teammate in milestone territory on the same night, eclipsing 1,000 career assists for the Orioles. Two players from the same program reaching four-figure career totals in the same match reflects a program with real depth and real continuity at its most important positions.
Paige Perez | S | Lafayette Central Catholic | 1,000 Career Assists
Perez crossed 1,000 career assists for Lafayette Central Catholic — a milestone that reflects years of work inside a program that doesn’t always generate statewide headlines but consistently produces quality players. Perez now joins a short list of Indiana setters to reach that career total and she did it representing one of Indiana’s respected smaller-school programs.
