Ben Davis continues to stack wins, and this week the Giants showed they can get them in different ways.
The Giants went 2-0 during the September 7–12 period, beginning with an 8-6 win over Lawrence Central on September 8. In a game where points were at a premium, Ben Davis did enough defensively to protect the two-point margin and remain unbeaten.
Two days later, there was considerably less drama.
Ben Davis rolled past Arsenal Tech 46-0 on September 10, delivering its most dominant result of the season and its first shutout.
The two victories pushed the Giants to 6-0 and continued an impressive start for a program establishing itself among the teams to watch in Indiana girls flag football this fall.
Through six games, Ben Davis has shown more than an ability to put points on the board. The Giants have already won close games, handled road tests and shown they can control a matchup defensively.
That combination earns Ben Davis recognition as the Indiana Preps Girls Flag Football Team of the Week for September 7–12.
