Week 6 rolls around to Lafayette this friday night with some good games around the area.
Main Game to watch in the area: Harrison @ McCutcheon
Both teams come into the matchup 2-3, with both teams coming off a loss last week. Harrison fell to North Central (Indy) 41-28 while Mccutcheon dropped a close one vs Lebonan 33-27. The Mavs didn’t get a ton going through the air with 66 passing yards however they ran the ball well for 267 yards and 4 touchdowns. Harrison also ran the ball well for 260 and 3 TD’s but the defenise just could not keep up with the Panthers from North Central.
This game should be a good battle between the two has they both run a very similar play style and match up well. This game will go a long way in helping determine the Sagamore conference.

Two teams meet at vastly different points in their seasons, Anderson comes in 1-4 while the Bronchos of Jeff are 4-1. Last week saw Jeff dismantle Richmond 64-6 on the road with QB Trysten Barrett had 224 yards and 4 TDS, another 4 TDs on the ground helped get the running clock for Jeff. Anderson on the other hand, the Indians got levelved by Kokomo 56-6. Anderson has not entered any stats for the game. This should be a quick game for the Bronchos to advance to 5-1.

Western (4-1) @ West Lafayette (2-3):
West Lafayette is fresh off a gritty win vs Central Catholic last week 34-27. Kojo Steffey was the star of the night with 3 TDs on the ground, the defense also came up huge with a pick 6 to secure the W. Western defeated Hamilton Heights 22-13, no stats have been entered for the Panthers.

After taking the L last week vs West Lafayette, the Knights look to tightup the turnover game to play a cleaner game vs the bombers. Rensselaer Central lost 33-14 to Tipton last week, again no stats provided.
