Sam Neu has been named the H3 Athletix Player of the Week after leading the Roncalli Rebels to a 37-18 upset victory over ranked Brebeuf Jesuit in challenging weather conditions. The Rebels’ defense played a key role, holding Brebeuf to under 27 points for the first time this season. Neu was a standout, contributing 10 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks, playing a pivotal part in the victory.
The Roncalli community rallied behind Neu in the Fan’s Choice Poll, where he secured an overwhelming 86.3% of the vote. In second place was Columbus North senior running back Gino Prescott, who tallied 172 rushing yards, three touchdowns on the ground, and an additional receiving touchdown in a standout performance of his own.
