Tyler Cherry was brilliant in Center Grove’s 34-12 sectional championship win over Columbus North. The Duke recruit accounted for three touchdowns, two passing and one on the ground. Cherry went 16 for 17, 168 yards and the three touchdowns all in the first half. Cherry’s main target Noah Coy caught 10 of those passes for 108 yards.
The win marks Center Grove’s 13th straight sectional championship as the Trojans seek their 4th straight 6A state title.
