What a matchup on tap tonight for fans of Indiana high school football! Expect lots of fireworks as No.2 Carmel host No.1 Center Grove in the annual Copper Kettle game. There’s a lot of storylines for this game. All of the division talent, the dominating wins by Center Grove, the impressive victories over Louisville Trinity and Detroit King by Carmel, or the fact these two programs dislike each other. The Carmel Greyhounds look to avenge last season’s blowout loss to the Trojans, 42-0. Scoring will be even tougher for Carmel if senior quarterback Zach Osbourne isn’t healthy. If the signal caller can go, the Hounds should make it a good battle this time around. The nationally ranked Trojans look unbeatable the first two weeks. Dominating wins, doing what they want at will. It appears the only team that can beat the defending state champions, is the Trojans themselves.
