Indianapolis Pike High School Quarterback Brent Lyles is poised to return to top prospect status. After an awesome debut as a sophomore, Lyles found himself on most college recruiting big boards. Heading into the 2012 season, Lyles was considered one of the top quarterback prospects in the Midwest. After a somewhat average 2012 season, the recruitment of Lyles went stale. The talented 2014 quarterback has yet to receive a scholarship offer. This Spring, Lyles was able to showcase his skills on the 7on7 circuit with the talent laden Elite 7evens team out of Indianapolis. The 6’2 190 quarterback led the E7 team to qualify for the IMG National Championships. We believe his 7on7 performance will give him the confidence to have a spectacular 2013 season.

Several B1G programs like Indiana, Iowa and Michigan are still showing interest in Lyles. He will have the luxury of throwing to four-star wide receiver Dominique Booth. Including two stud running backs in Taylor Sanders and Derrick Wilkerson to keep defenses honest, creating big play pass opportunities. We fully expect him to land a Division 1 (FBS or FCS) to justify our early 2013 Quarterback rankings.
