Just under a week after receiving his first offer, Fort Wayne (IN) Concordia High School QB David Morrison, confirmed with Indiana Preps his verbal commitment to Ball State University. The 6’3 180lb quarterback becomes the second commitment for the Ball State program representing the class of 2014. Morrison is arguably the best 2014 quarterback in Indiana and this is a huge get for the Cardinals.
Morrison is very firm on his commitment to Ball State and has told other programs that he’s respectfully shutting down the recruiting process. The senior to be also plans to enroll early and get a jump on the offense in the Spring. ” I want to come in and bring a great work ethic to help an already successful program become more successful” says Morrison. He also noted “Ball State was perfect for me. I loved the coaches and the offense. I decided to commit early because this is the offer I wanted.”
The prep QB threw for 1,839 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2012.
