Preps2Prospects is a football scouting & camp company serving many high school football players from across the Midwest. Preps2Prospects Founder, Harvey Scruggs felt there was a need to help seniors who are flying under the radar connect with college coaches. “Indiana has over 320 schools participating in organized football and less than 1% of those players go on to play at the division one level. So I wanted to give those players capable of playing college football at smaller programs a platform to be evaluated by those schools”, says Scruggs. He adopted the idea of hosting a “senior showcase” for unsigned or uncommitted senior football players. “This platform is pretty popular in other states, like Ohio, California, Texas and Georgia. I feel Indiana has produced a good level of college ready players over the years and there should be something geared toward helping them reach the next level.” The Preps2Prospects Senior Showcase & Recruiting Fair will give seniors the opportunity to workout in front of Division II, III and NAIA college coaches. There will be no type of combine testing or stopwatches to comply with the NCAA. Immediately following the periods of drills and 1on1 competitions, seniors will be given the opportunity to interact with college coaches. This is a unique concept to bring college coaches and college ready seniors together and increase a players recruiting.
