Indiana Preps | Player of the Week — Week 7 | Powered by Identity Kept Services
Nearly 19,000 votes. One winner.
Mishawaka Marian’s Lanie Tomczak earned Indiana Preps Week 7 Volleyball Player of the Week honors after the Marian community showed up in force — delivering 12,980 votes and 69.1 percent of the total to put their setter on top by a commanding margin.
The recognition is worth it.
Tomczak posted 30 assists, 9 digs and 5 aces in Marian’s 3-0 win over Fairfield on September 29 — a complete performance from the service line, in distribution and on the back row that gave the Knights a dominant straight-set victory. Thirty assists in a three-set match reflects a setter running an offense at a high level. Five aces on top of that reflects a player who can hurt you before the rally even starts.
The Marian community made sure Indiana Preps knew who had the week.
Congratulations to Lanie Tomczak — Indiana Preps Week 7 Volleyball Player of the Week, powered by Identity Kept Services.
