Quinn Driscoll’s journey in flag football has been nothing short of remarkable. As she steps into her junior year at Penn High School, her story is a testament to the power of seizing opportunities and embracing challenges.
A New Beginning in Flag Football
Quinn’s introduction to football came through her school’s powder puff games, where she played alongside her classmates. “I’d always enjoyed playing with friends and competing against other girls,” she shares. But when the opportunity arose to join the high school flag football team, she jumped at the chance.
Initially slated to be a running back, Quinn found herself stepping into the quarterback position due to an injury to the starting player. “I was just trying to keep an open mind and perform to the best of my ability,” she recalls. This mindset paid off; she ended her first season with an impressive 2,000 yards passing, 41 touchdowns, and only two interceptions.
“I always had the motto of like, have fun with it while I’m playing. I’m not trying to overthink it too much.”

Rising to the Challenge
Despite her rookie status, Quinn quickly proved herself as a leader on the field. She emphasizes the importance of teamwork and trust: “I was playing for all the girls that had come out with the same interests. We all relied on each other, and that’s what helped us succeed.”
Her efforts didn’t go unnoticed; she was named the Indiana Girls Flag Football Player of the Year and earned a spot on the Max Preps All-American team, recognizing her as one of the top players in the nation.
USA Football Select Bowl Experience
Quinn’s accolades didn’t stop there. She was selected to participate in the USA Football Select Bowl in Los Angeles, an opportunity only afforded to the top 48 athletes across the country. “I was starstruck when I found out I was invited,” she admits.
This experience not only boosted her confidence but also allowed her to learn from the best. “Playing amongst the best of the best was such a crazy feeling. It was definitely a different pace, but I loved every moment of it.”
Looking Ahead
As Quinn gears up for the upcoming season, she acknowledges the challenges ahead. With Penn ranked number one in Indiana, the pressure is on. “We want to improve from last season, but we have to focus on one game at a time. Building chemistry will be key for us,” she states.
With a strong commitment to her team and an impressive skill set, Quinn Driscoll is poised for another stellar season. Her journey is just beginning, but one thing is clear: she’s ready to lead her team back to the championship.
