On Sunday, July 12 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, two of the most respected offensive and defensive line development organizations in the country are going head to head at Stonybrook Middle School in Indianapolis. OLine Fundamentals Academy and Rush Academy are hosting Hawgs vs. Dawgs — Battle in the Trenches — a lineman-specific event built around the question every offensive and defensive lineman in Indiana needs to answer before the fall season starts.

Who owns the line?

The format is exactly what it sounds like. Linemen Challenges. One-on-one battles. Team competition. No skill position players sharing the spotlight — this is three hours dedicated entirely to the most underexposed position group in Indiana high school football. The athletes who show up Sunday will get evaluated in a live competitive setting against some of the best linemen in the state.

Indiana Preps will be on site evaluating talent. Our staff will be watching every rep — offensive linemen, defensive linemen, the one-on-one battles, the team segments. Players who perform well will be covered. Names will be in our reporting. Before the season even starts, this is an opportunity to get on Indiana Preps’ radar and build exposure heading into the fall recruiting cycle.

For the Class of 2027 and Class of 2028 linemen in particular — this event is the kind of early-summer evaluation that can accelerate a recruiting timeline. College coaches read Indiana Preps.
