Recognizing the Best in a Historic Season for Girls Flag Football in Indiana
The 2025 fall season marked a milestone for girls flag football in the Hoosier State — and for Indiana Preps. Our inaugural season covering the sport delivered everything we hoped for: elite athletes, fast-paced play, inspiring storylines, and a championship atmosphere that set a new standard.
It all culminated under the lights at Grand Park, where Penn High School completed a perfect 13–0 season and claimed the first IHSAA Girls Flag Football State Championship in history with a 35–12 victory over Lawrence North. A defining moment for the sport — and a thrilling conclusion to Year One for our coverage team.
