INDIANAPOLIS, IN — As Team Indiana Football gears up for a competitive 2025 season, the 8th Grade North team is proud to introduce a passionate and highly experienced coaching staff, backed by a dedicated team administrator and committed support system. From youth development to varsity-level success, this group brings a unique blend of football knowledge, leadership, and enthusiasm to the program.

Team Administrator: Kayla Hinkle — The Heart of the Operation

At the center of the team’s organization and logistics is Kayla Hinkle, serving as the Team Administrator. Kayla is more than just the go-to contact—she’s the glue that holds everything together.

“Honestly, without Kayla and her amazing team of parents, we would all be lost,” says the coaching staff.

Her dedication ensures the athletes, families, and coaches are all aligned for success on and off the field.

Head Coach: Micah Davis — Leadership Rooted in Experience

Micah Davis brings over 15 years of football coaching experience to the Team Indiana 8th Grade North squad. With time spent at both Westfield and Pendleton schools, as well as serving in director and commissioner roles within Westfield football programs, Coach Davis is known for his strategic mind and player-first approach. He also serves as a Board Member for Team Indiana Football, helping to shape the future of youth football across the state.

Offensive Coordinator: Cole Miller — Building a Powerful Run Game

A tactician on offense, Cole Miller enters the 2025 campaign with over a decade of coaching experience. He currently serves as the Run Game Coordinator for the LHS Tigers (2021–present), where he’s helped engineer one of the most dynamic ground attacks in the state.

Defensive Coordinator: Tyler Harper — A Championship Mindset

With 4+ years of experience coaching at Noblesville Schools, Tyler Harper also brings professional-level leadership to the staff as the Defensive Coordinator for the Indiana Valor, a women’s professional football team. His disciplined and aggressive approach on defense is expected to elevate Team Indiana’s unit to new heights.

Quarterbacks & Defensive Backs Coach: Brandon Powell — Developing Game-Changers

Brandon Powell has more than 6 years of football coaching experience and has been instrumental in building the tackle football program at McCutcheon Schools. His expertise in both the QB room and secondary makes him a valuable asset in developing versatile, high-IQ athletes.

Special Teams & Assistant Coach: Steven Beiswinger — Focused on the Fundamentals

Steven Beiswinger brings 3+ years of coaching experience from Speedway Schools, with a special focus on special teams execution and overall team fundamentals. His attention to detail and energy on the field play a key role in keeping the team sharp and prepared in every phase of the game.

With a coaching staff rooted in high school football, youth development, and even professional-level experience, Team Indiana class of 2030 8th Grade North is positioned for a strong 2025 season. The team’s culture—fueled by the efforts of Kayla Hinkle and the staff’s collective commitment—embodies the values of development, competition, and excellence.

“The 8th Grade season is always a special season for families and players as many of the players have played with Team Indiana Football for a couple of years, not only developing skills but developing friendships.  The 2025 season for the class of 2030 8th Grade North will be no exception, building on the foundation that Coach Jones and his staff built over the last two years, we are certain this team will end their Team Indiana run with a bang” said Kyle Ochs the organization’s Executive Director.
