The Indiana Collective made a strong first impression at the Star City Showdown, powered by Elite 7evens, proving they belong among the nation’s best in the 7v7 scene.
The 15U squad set the tone early, lighting up the scoreboard in pool play, tallying 75 points while allowing just 19. Their dominant performance led to a 3-0 record and secured the No. 2 seed heading into bracket play. The squad battled their way to the championship game, ultimately finishing as runner-up in an impressive first tournament outing.
The 18U squad, stacked with some of the top talent in the country, finished pool play 2-1, earning the No. 8 seed for bracket play. Despite a strong showing, the team fell in the second round, closing their tournament debut with a 2-2 record.
One of the biggest standouts was quarterback Jacob Davis (New Palestine, Ind.), who showcased his elite arm talent, precision, and decision-making under pressure. His ability to move the chains and protect the football makes him a name to watch as his stock rises this offseason.
With a strong first tournament under their belt, Indiana Collective has set the stage for a big season ahead. Expect them to build on this momentum and continue to turn heads in the 7v7 circuit.
