A big week two battle happening when Indiana Preps no.3 ranked Cathedral travels to take on no.8 Brownsburg in a rematch of last season’s regional game that was decided by 7 in favor of the Irish. Both teams came out hot in week one and dominated their opponents from start to finish. A stellar rushing performance by Bulldogs senior running back Garrett Sherrell, as he blasted the Bishop Dwenger defense for 223-yards and 3-touchdowns in the Brownsburg 51-7 victory.
What was slated to be a marquee matchup betweent top 6A teams at Lucas Oil, didn’t as planned. Cathedral was dominant in their week one contest, jumping on Lafayette Jeffeson early and never letting up, in the 55-14 win. The Irish defense was lights out while the offense rushed for nearly 250-yards on the ground. Irish quarterback Danny O’Neil and crew will need to compliment the ground game this go around.
