Indianapolis North Central standout wide senior receiver TJ McWilliams announced his commitment to Minnesota via his Twitter after being a Purdue Boilermaker commit since early this summer. A change of heart may have a lot to do with the recent change of leadership at the top with head coach Jeff Brohm leaving West Lafayette for Louisville. That opened the door for PJ Fleck and Minnesota to extend an offer and make a home visit. A visit later by newly hired Purdue coach Ryan Walters to McWilliams was not quite enough for him to remain committed.

The three-star wideout is slated to play in the All American Bowl on NBC in January.
