East Central junior running back Josh Ringer is on track to have one of the more memorable seasons at one of the premier football programs in the state. Through six games, he’s gained over a 1,000 yards and has scored 13 touchdowns on the ground. An impressive 9.5 yards per carry, Ringer is a big play waiting to happen. In a record performance in Friday’s win over South Dearborn, the 6’1 190-pound tailback set rushing record for touchdowns (6) and points scored (36) in a single game. His 338 rushing yards was good enough to tie him at 4th in the record books. This week’s fan voting also broke our previous record, reaching 5,670 responses.
