Traction Athletic Performance (TractionAP) has officially joined the Indiana Preps Sports Network (INPreps) team as the performance team for Indiana Showcase football camps. This partnership strengthens the quality of the Indiana Showcase series by having one of the nation’s premier performance training brands on board. The addition of TractionAP to the Indiana Showcase and INPreps family is a “big move” in the landscape of instructional and competitive football camps, said Harvey Scruggs, INPreps Founder. Based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, TractionAP has a rich history of churning out athletes that have gone on to play at the next level and beyond. Often you will find NFL players such as Jesse Bates (Bengals), Drue Tranquill (Chargers) and Jaylon Smith (Giants) perfecting their craft at TractionAP during the offseason.
Traction AP CEO Dre Muhammad has built himself into one of the most sought out wide receiver skills trainer in the country. Several college football power-five head coaches consider Muhammad a gem in the Midwest, and some have extended job opportunities for the “Separation Skill Trainer” to join their staff. A former division one receiver himself, Muhammad has been able to translate his experiences to the athletes he trains, developing some of Indiana’s best at that position to come out of high school. TractionAP is the home to current pro wide receivers D’Wayne Eskridge (Seahawks), Ben Skowronek (Rams) and Austin Mack (49rs) who were all prep standouts in the Fort Wayne area.
TractionAP has an experienced roster of position coaches that are developing Fort Wayne athletes into statewide and national names on the recruiting circuit. From offensive line to linebacker development, TractionAP has the recipe for success that translates on the field. Quarterback instructor Antoine Taylor will serve as the Lead Coach for the Indiana Showcase camps. Taylor brings a strong resume of quarterback skill development to the table and is one of the brightest minds in regards to the position. Among the area’s top players committed to play college football train and develop at TractionAP include Landen Livingston (West Virginia), Kiel Eldridge (Toledo), DJ Allen (Rutgers), Chris Hood (Ball State), Rowan Zolman (Miami OH) and Jeff Becker (South Dakota St) among many others. In addition to football specific training, Human development and Mental development are also services provided by the TractionAP team. Character building and success off the field is as important in their program offerings. You can tap into their podcast to hear about how athletes endure the journey of being an athlete. TractionAP is no stranger to the club sports world either. Recognized as one of the nation’s premier club 7-on-7 football programs, the area’s top player flock to compete and develop under the TractionAP flagship. Budding stars like Brauntae Johnson and Nick Thompson are just a few more of Indiana’s top underclassmen prospects that will play at the next level with the TractionAP stamp of approval.
