The return of Indiana high school football boasts a 6A match up between 2 power house high school programs. Center Grove coming off a 14-0 state championship 2020 season and Warren Central coming off a 4-6 disappointment from last year. It feels like a changing of the guard for claim to Metro Indianapolis’s top power house program. In the 2 matchups from last season Warren Central was held scoreless in both meetings, and if they are unable to get some new up and comers to step up it might be even worse this year. Center Grove boasts an amazing 5 division 1 players in its senior class, with maybe more to come depending on how the season plays out. The high level talent players seem to be shifting down to Greenwood Indiana led by the top QB in the state Tayven Jackson a Tennessee recruit and Cayden Curry one of the top defensive line recruits in the country according to 24/7 sports recruiting and ESPN recruiting services. It will be very interesting to see if Warren Central can keep up with the top end talent of Center Grove with some young unheralded players.
