For the 2nd straight season, East Noble will be playing for a regional championship, while Marion returns for the first time in 2 seasons. The Knights are coming off a convincing 10-0 win over Leo on the road. As for Marion, they’re coming off a 38-21 win over Delta to win their sectional under first-year coach James Bell.

Both teams do like running the football, but that’s especially the case with Marion and their 3,029 yards led by senior Khalid Stamps with 1,379. However, they’ll face a East Noble defense that’s allowing just 12.3 points a game. However, Marion will have to contain junior Rowan Zolman if they have a shot at winning this regional.

Watch for Cole Schupbach who ran for 95 yards and threw for 76 for EN against Leo. Justin Marcellus ran for 95 yards in his last game @ Leo. For Marion, Stamps ran for 155 and 3 TD’s against Delta.

EN is 3-1 all time in regionals but it’s the first ever regional game that they’re hosting. Marion is also 3-1 in regional games but it’s their first away regional game since 1990. Marion won regionals in 2018, while EN won their regional last season.
