We made it through week one. It was different for sure, but once the ball is kicked there is a bit of normalcy. Football is football. Week 2 Game of the Week

#10 Merrillville at #14 Hobart

Merrillville kicked off their 2020 season with a dominating 40-13 victory over 2A Andrean. There are high expectations for the Pirates come tournament time. However, the old adage, one game at at time, has never meant more then now with Covid-19. The Pirates are presented a challenge in their week two opponent. Merrillville will head to Hobart and take on 4A top ranked Brickies. Hobart earned a W in the win column in their opener, defeating class 6A Chesterton 24-10. High flying offense versus a stout defense, is sure to be a battle to the end.
