Warren Central prevailed in the clash between titans in the season opener, outlasting the no.2 ranked Center Grove Trojans in a 21-14 victory. The Warriors leaned on a new face at the quarterback position in Cobe Moore. A converted tight-end, Moore led the Warriors with three passing touchdowns. Senior running back Randy Wells grounded out 110 yards rushing. The defense was stellar limiting the Carson Steele-less Trojans to just one touchdown each half.
