Takeaways: Week 2

Week 2 of Indiana high school football featured intriguing match-ups, a few upsets and huge numbers.

Lawrence North and North Central capture their second win of the season. The last time North Central won two consecutive games, back in 2013. Both Lawrence North and North Central will likely crack the AP and IFCA polls top 10 this week.

Evansville Central running back Tor’jon Evans racked up 309 yards and 3 touchdowns, on 22 carries in the Bears week 2 victory.

Columbus North knocks off IFCA No.1 ranked Columbus East for the second year in a row in this crosstown rivalry.

What has happened to Fishers? A preseason favorite to compete for a Hoosier Crossroads championship, the Tigers are 0-2 to start the season. The Tigers were shutout in week 2, their first time since 2012.
