Decatur Central offensive lineman Trent Maynard announced his commitment to Miami University of Ohio this morning. The lure to Miami was the culture and rise of the program led by head coach Chuck Martin.
“I knew on campus that there was no better fit for me. I love the coaching staff that’s there, I love the opportunities that I have on the field and off, great academics, nice distance, everything is perfect!” said Maynard “There’s no better fit for me and I’m ready to be apart of something special” continued Maynard.
Maynard held offers from several FBS school but will not make any other visits and has closed his recruitment with his commitment. He will enroll in June. Maynard joins three other INPreps apart of the 2016 Miami Ohio recruiting class.
