IndianaPreps Week 2 PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Another very exciting week of high school football action in the Hoosier state and several big performances by top recruits. IndianaPreps.com has selected super sophomore RB Markell Jones of Columbus East high school as the Week 2 Player of the Week. Jones landed on the Honorable Mention list last week with his stellar debut and win over Bloomington North. This week the game was a bit bigger with a lot of hometown pride on the line as Jones and the Olympians marched onto victory against cross-town rival Columbus North with a 23-20 outcome. Jones was the difference maker in the game as he closed the game out with a 21 yard scamper to put East up by 2 with seconds left. Markell Jones has amassed over 300 yards rushing & accountable for Five touchdowns in two weeks of action.
