The Future of the Sport Is Here — And It’s Blindingly Bright

With the conclusion of the 2025 girls flag football season — a landmark year for the sport across Indiana — we turn our attention to the rising stars who are shaping its future. Today, Indiana Preps proudly unveils our Underclassmen All-State Top 22 Team, a collection of emerging standouts who showed poise, explosiveness, and playmaking ability well beyond their years.

This season brought growth unlike anything we’ve seen since the sport was sanctioned in the state. Participation surged. Skill level jumped. And by the time Penn and Lawrence North squared off in the historic Girls Flag State Championship at Grand Park, it was clear: Indiana is becoming a national hotbed for girls flag football.

But if 2025 belonged to the seniors, the next several years will belong to the underclassmen. This group delivered breakout performances, clutch playoff moments, and highlight-reel plays that signal a bright, rapidly rising future for the sport.
